Terms and conditions

Contract Period: Property Styling Corp agrees to hire to the Client (Hirer) and the Hirer agrees to hire from Property Styling Corp the Furniture/accessories at the specified location for the specified hire period in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement. Contract is for the agreed hire period and no discount will be available if you choose to end the contract early.After your hire period,  additional weekly hire is available for a 4 week period on request.  Standard hire rates are 10% styling package price per week for the 4 weeks.

Payment Terms & Security Deposit: Option 1) Pay Upfront to Save:

Full payment is required upon booking and is non refundable.

Payment can be made either via direct deposit, cash or credit card (Visa / Mastercard).

Credit Card: Secure Visa or Mastercard payments be made via link on your invoice. 1.7% card merchant processing fee applies.

Option 2) 0% Deposit Interest Free Finance:

Subject to finance approval. Lending criteria: Must be 18 years or old, Must be part time or full time employed, Must own a property.  $1 weekly account keeping fee applies, $4.99 late fee applies.

0% Deposit paid upfront and fortnightly payments paid direct to finance company. No early pay out fees, settle balance anytime.

Property Access: The hirer is responsible for organising all access to the property for the installation of your styling. Please make your own arrangements for a key to be provided to Property Styling Corp and advise the location of the key at your property via text message or email prior to your installation time. The hirer is responsible for arranging truck access to the property for the duration of styling installation. Hirers living in unit or townhouse complexes must organise truck access with neighbors and or property managers for the duration of the installation and styling process.

Please note: Due to strict Insurance terms and conditions the styling team requires sole access to the property for the entire duration of the styling installation. We ask that you please make arrangements to vacate the property and the yard for the entire styling installation. The styling installation will not proceed while owners and tenants are on the premises due to insurance / liability /  injury risk.

Arrival Times:  The team will arrive approx 1:30pm at your location. Property Styling Corp arrival times are an estimate and are subject to change without notice due to the nature of operating a busy commercial warehouse.

Installation: Client authorises Property Styling Corp to make alterations to the property to install various fixtures, artwork and accessories and consents to screws, nails and other permanent or semi permanent fixtures to be installed. All care will be taken, however Property Styling Corp bears no responsibility for damage, loss, or injury relating to any above mentioned installed fixtures. All picture hooks and plaster screws that are installed will be left in the walls when the property is unpacked. Larger installation holes will be patched and lightly sanded where fixtures are removed or if any holes used during installation are visible.

Creative Appointment: The Hirer grants Property Styling Corp full creative appointment and agrees to not interfere with the design process. Items are chosen by the creative director as part of an overall  design scheme with the aim of appealing to a main stream of potential buyers. Individual items are not available to be personally selected or swapped due to personal preference. The hirer agrees not to alter or interfere with the styling installation.

Product Use: All furniture and styling items are for the purpose of property staging only and are strictly not to be used. This includes towels, candles, display food, cushions, floor rugs and all styling accessories. Bedding is purely for display, when sleeping in a bed please remove all Property Styling Corp items, set aside and only display on the bed for photography and open house viewings.

Furniture and floor rugs are purely for display, however if you are living at the property and intend to sit on Property Styling Corp furniture or walk on Property Styling Corp floor rugs, please cover any item with a large sheet to prevent soiling or damage.

Please remove all cushions from sofas to avoid squashing and flattening and only return them to the sofa for photography or open house viewings.

If any Property Styling Corp goods are damaged and capable of repair, Hirer must compensate Property Styling Corp for the cost of repair. If the goods are lost or damaged beyond repair, Hirer must pay Property Styling Corp the new replacement cost of the goods.

Blinds & Curtains: It is the Hirers responsibility to ensure the property is fitted with working window treatments to prevent fading of Property Styling Corp products.

Please only open blinds for photos and open house, and then ensure they are closed again. If the goods are damaged due to fading, Hirer must pay Property Styling Corp the new replacement cost of the goods.

Plants: Where plants are installed, the plants are the Hirer’s responsibility whilst in the property and they will require weekly watering in order to survive. All plants have plastic trays under them.

Please be mindful of the water in the trays, when moving plants indoors from outside, so spillage doesn’t cause damage to your flooring.

Please ensure all plants are kept inside and only displayed outside for photography and open house. The cost of plants can range from $25.00 to $500.00. If plants are lost or damaged beyond repair, Hirer must pay Property Styling Corp the new replacement cost of the plants.

Please advise your stylist if you wish to swap real foliage and plants for artificial.

Outdoor Furniture: All outdoor items are for the purpose of property staging only and are strictly not to be used. All outdoor items (with the exception of dining tables and benches) are to be stored inside and are only to be displayed outdoors for photography and open house viewings.

If any outdoor furniture or accessories are damaged and capable of repair, Hirer must compensate Property Styling Corp for the cost of repair. If the outdoor furniture or accessories are lost or damaged beyond repair, Hirer must pay Property Styling Corp the new replacement cost of the goods.

Foilage & Perishables: All foliage / flowers have been specifically chosen for the Hirer’s property and are included in the original package price. Most foliage and flowers last for between 7 and 14 days. It is the Hirer’s responsibility to replace any foliage or flowers during the sale campaign with the same or very similar items at their own cost.

All perishable foods have also been chosen for the Hirer’s property and are included in the original package price. Property Styling Corp recommends keeping all perishable food items refrigerated to extend the shelf life. It is the Hirer’s responsibility to replace any perishable food items during the sale campaign with the same or very similar items at their own cost.

It is the Hirer’s responsibility to remove and discard of foliage / flowers or perishable food items from Property Styling Corp vases, platters or bowls at the end of the sale campaign.

Please advise your stylist if you wish to swap real foliage and plants for artificial.

Stylist Call Out: It is highly recommended that a stylist attends your property each week to upkeep the high standards of presentation. A weekly stylist call out of available to water plants, replace foliage, flowers and perishables. Stylist call out will ensure Property Styling Corp high standards of presentation are maintained during the sale campaign. Stylist can replenish foliage / flowers / perishables. Freshen beds, freshen cushion placement and any other general styling requests.

A set price of $95 is payable for each stylist call out. Any costs or foliage or perishable food replacement may be additional.

Property Care: Whilst all care is taken by Property Styling Corp staff while installing and removing furniture, the hirer understands and accepts that the nature of removing furniture comes with a small inherent risk of wear and tear to the property. The hirer agrees not to hold Property Styling Corp liable for minor cosmetic wear and tear as a result of the installation and removal process.

In the event that you believe there is Significant damage to your property of part thereof as a result of installation or removal, the Hirer is responsible to contact Property Styling Corp in writing via email within 48 hours of the installation with photographic evidence.  Failure to contact Property Styling Corp within 48 hours of installation with photographic evidence will render such claims null and void.

Installation Date: Property Styling Corp books jobs based on availability and precise scheduling.

Unless prior arranged and with agreed to by Property Styling Corp, all installations must occur within 6 weeks of booking your styling project. Changing dates or prolonging installation unless prior arranged and agreed to by Property Styling Corp will render the project cancelled and the deposit non refundable.

Unpacking Your Property: 

Hirer agrees to arrange access to the property for the purpose of unpack.  Due to the nature of running a busy warehouse, the specified day and time of your unpack may be changed. Property Styling Corp will remove items from your home. Client is responsible for property cleaning after the property has been vacated prior to the hand over to new owner. This is not a service offered by our styling team .

Insurance Cover: Property Styling Corp carries Public Liability Insurance to the value of $10,000,000.

Property Styling Corp cover their contents items for full property damage Insurance after they are installed into your property. Property Styling Property Damage Insurance excludes Theft cover. Theft cover is the full responsibility of the property owner.  Property Styling Property Damage Insurance includes contents cover for Property Styling Items only, in the event of a major loss events such as: Fire, Explosion, Earthquake, Flood, Storm Damage.

Cancellation & Termination Policy: The hirer has the right to cancel their booking on receipt of written advice within 7-14 days from agreed installation date, however the deposit is non refundable. Where a booking is cancelled with less than 7 days from agreed start date, the client will be responsible for the full styling costs and invoiced accordingly.

Requests to reschedule the installation day can be granted when adequate notice of at least 7 days is provided.

Credit Card Bond: Please provide Visa or Master card details.  Hirer grants Property Styling Corp authority to charge credit card for repair costs or full replacement costs in the event of loss or damage to any Property Styling Corp property.
