Property Styling Corp agrees to hire to the Client (Hirer) and the Hirer agrees to hire from Property Styling Corp the Furniture/accessories at the specified location for the standard Hire Period of 5 weeks in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Contract is for the agreed hire period and no discount will be available if you choose to end the contract early.

1. PAYMENT TERMS & SECURITY DEPOST

A $1,000 booking deposit is required upon booking and is non refundable. The balance of payment to be paid no later than 48 hours prior to installation in order for styling to proceed.

Payment can be made either via direct deposit, cash or credit card (Visa / Mastercard).

Credit Card: Secure Visa or Mastercard payments can be made via your invoice. 1.7% card merchant processing fee applies.

2. PROPERTY ACCESS

Please organise a key to be left at the property to ensure easy access on installation day. Property Styling Corp will not be responsible for driving around Collecting keys or organising agents to meet them to gain access. Please make your own arrangements and advise the location of the key via text message or email prior to your installation time

Styling staff are paid on a hourly rate, therefore an hourly fee will be charged $110+ gst for any access delays where a key is not provided.

Please note: To ensure high productivity, we require the Hirer and Trades to vacate the property for styling. Exclusive access is required for the entire duration of the installation. An hourly fee will be charged $110+ gst applies where owners or trades delay the styling installation to commence by remaining present at the property. Strictly no visitors by agents, friends, or family during the styling installation. Such interruptions are costly and hinder productivity. Please deter all interruptions to avoid being charged for additional costs.

3. ARRIVAL TIMAES

Property Styling Corp arrival times are an estimate only and are subject to change without notice due to the nature of operating a busy commercial warehouse. A text notification is available on request. The styling team can notify you as they leave the Warehouse to provide exact arrival time.

4. INSTALLATION

Client authorises Property Styling Corp to make alterations to the property to install various fixtures, artwork and accessories and consents to screws, nails and other permanent or semi permanent fixtures to be installed. All care will be taken, however Property Styling Corp bears no responsibility for damage, loss, or injury relating to any above mentioned installed fixtures. All picture hooks and plaster screws that are installed will be left in the walls when the property is unpacked. Larger installation holes will be patched and lightly sanded where fixtures are removed or if any holes used during installation are visable.

5. CREATIVE APPOINTMENT

The Hirer grants Property Styling Corp full creative appointment and agrees to not interfere with the design process. Items are chosen by the Creative director as part of an overall design scheme with the aim of appealing to a main stream of potential buyers. Individual items are not available to be personally selected or swapped due to personal preference.

6. PRODUCT USE

All furniture and styling items are for the purpose of property staging only and are strictly not be used. This includes towels, candles, display food Cushions, floor rugs and all styling accessories. Bedding is purely for display, when sleeping in a bed please remove all Property Styling Corp items, set aside and only display on the bed for photography and open house ViewIngs.

Furniture and floor rugs are purely for display, however if you are living at the property and intend to sit on Property Styling Corp furniture or walk on Property Styling Corp floor rugs, please cover any item with a large sheet to prevent soiling or damage.

Please remove all Cushions from sofas to avoid squashing and flattening and only return them to the sofa for photography or open house viewings.

If any goods are damaged and capable of repair, Hirer must compensate Property Styling Corp for the cost of repair. If the goods are lost or damaged beyond repair, Hirer must pay Property Styling Corp the new replacement cost of the goods.

7 . BLINDS & CURTAINS

It is the Hirers responsibility to ensure the property is fitted with working window treatments to prevent fading of Property Styling Corp products.

lf windows are not covered with block out curtains or blinds Property Styling Corp, on request from hirer Property Styling Corp can install removable drop sheets over windows in rooms where styling has been installed. Velco drop sheet installations will be charged at $150 per window. Please advise stylist if you require this service.

All blinds, curtains or velcro drop sheets should be closed at all times to prevent Property Styling Corp furniture and accessories from direct sunlight and fading.

Please only open blinds for photos and open house, and then ensure they are closed again.

If the goods are damaged due to fading, Hirer must pay Property Styling Corp the new replacement cost of the goods.

8. PLANTS

The plants are the Hirer’s responsibility whilst in the property and they will require weekly watering in order to survive. All plants have plastic trays under them.

Please be mindful of the water in the trays, when moving plants indoors from outside, so Spillage doesn’t cause damage to your flooring.

Please ensure all plants are kept inside and only displayed outside for photography and open house. The cost of plants can range from $25.00 to $500.00. If plants are lost or damaged beyond repair, Hirer must pay Property Styling Corp the new replacement cost of the plants.

9. OUTDOOR FURNITURE

All Outdoor items are for the purpose of property staging only and are strictly not be used. All outdoor items (with the exception of dining tables and benches) are to be stored inside and are only to be displayed outdoors for photography and open house viewings.

lf any outdoor furniture or accessories are damaged and capable of repair, Hirer must Compensate Property Styling Corp for the cost of repair. If the outdoor furniture or accessories are lost or damaged beyond repair, Hirer must pay Property Styling Corp the new replacement Cost of the goods.

10. FOLIAGE & PERISHABLES

All foliage / flowers have been specifically chosen for the Hirer’s property and are included in

the original package price. Mostfoliage and flowers last for between seven and thirty days. It is the Hirer’s responsibility to replace any foliage or flowers during the sale campaign with the same or very similiar items at their own cost.

Property Styling Corp will advise Hirer where the products can be replenished and leave an itemised florist list for easy local re ordering.

All perishable foods have also been chosen for the Hirer’s property and are included in the original package price. Property Styling Corp recommends keeping all perishable food items refrigerated to extend the shelf life. It is the Hirer’s responsibility to replace any perishable food items during the sale campaign with the same or very similiar items at their own cost. Property Styling Corp will advise Hirer where the products can be replenished.

It is the Hirer’s responsibility to remove and discard of foliage / flowers or perishable food items from Property Styling Corp vases, platters or bowls at the end of the sale campaign.

11. STYLIST CALLOUT

A Weekly stylist call out is available to water plants, replace foliage, flowers and perishables. Stylist call out will ensure Property Styling Corp high standards of presentation are maintained during the sale campaign. Stylist can replenish foliage / flowers / perishables. Freshen beds, freshen Cushion placement and any other general styling requests.

A set price of $150 is payable for each stylist call out. Any costs or foliage or perishable food replacement requested is an additional cost to the hirer and will be charged accordingly.

12. CREDIT CARD BOND

You will be required to provide your Visa or Mastercard details.  Hirer grants Property Styling Corp authority to charge Credit card for repair Costs or full replacement costs in the event of loss or damage to any Property Styling Corp property.

13. INSURANCE

Property Styling Corp carries public liability Insurance to the value of $10,000,000.

Property Styling Corp carries contents Insurance for our products at your location for loss due to fire or storm. Theft or accidental damage or vandalism cover is not included.

The Hirer agrees to be fully liable for all Property Styling Corp items in their possession in regards to theft and accidental damage, vandalism.

14. CANCELLATION POLICY

The Client has the right to cancel their booking on receipt of written advice within 7-14 days from agreed installation date, however the deposit is non refundable. Where a booking is cancelled with less than 7 days from agreed start date, the client will be responsible for the full styling costs and invoiced accordingly.

Requests to reschedule the installation day can be granted when adequate notice of at least 7 days is provided.
